"Studio Fanfare" is the latest addition to Romero Britto's graffiti series, inspired by the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood, home to Romero’s studio in Miami, FL. Wynwood, renowned for its murals and street art, serves as a creative haven for young artists. Influenced by his community, Romero integrates the street art aesthetic into this new series of prints.
Romero's initial encounter with graffiti involved decorating his studio walls with flower decals due to a tight schedule. When a jealous artist vandalized the newly adorned walls, Romero turned the negative act into a positive by spray-painting over the graffiti, creating stunning artwork. This incident now symbolizes Romero's recognition and celebration of Miami's young art movement.
