After its theatrical debut in USA and Japan the documentary on Romero Britto’s life and art is finally out on streaming platforms starting this August 26th on Apple iTunes globally and Amazon Prime Video in USA via Tribeca Films.
The documentary, a deeply personal narrative of Britto’s journey from humble beginnings in Recife, Brazil, to becoming the most licensed and collected artist globally, is accompanied by a poster designed by Britto himself.Narrated by the artist, The BRITTO Doc features appearances from notable figures such as Andrea Bocelli, Arnold Schwarzenegger, DJ Khaled, Marc Anthony,Gloria Estefan, Ronaldinho and Martha Stewart. The five-part art installation offers a testament to resilience, optimism, and the transformative power of art.
The Britto Doc is a compelling documentary chronicling the life and career of internationally acclaimed artist Romero Britto.
Directed by Patrick Moreau (The New Hustle, Our Journey Home) and produced by Muse Storytelling. The documentary is narrated by Britto himself and includes special appearances from opera star Andrea Bocelli, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, musicians Marc Anthony, Dj Khaled, and Gloria Estefan, fashion designer Domenico Dolce, Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho and Martha Stewart to name a few.


The film dives into Britto’s life and career. “From painting on scraps with his mother’s nail polish in the slums of Recife, Brazil, to seeing his vibrant creations in Miami celebrated and collected globally, Britto’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative power of art. This poignant narrative is infused with Britto’s warmth, optimism, and love,” Lucas Vidal, the CEO of BRITTO Group, said in a statement.
Patrick Moreau directs the film and Lucas L. C. Vidal, Arthur Morrical, Caitlin Miranda, and Ben Everard serve as executive producers.

I am excited to share my story so that people can get to know what lies beneath the bright colors and sparkles.”


Britto’s work has been exhibited in over 120 countries, including the Carrousel Du Louvre. He was the first living visual artist to present his work at the Soumaya Museum. He did the opening of the Super Bowl XLI in collaboration with Cirque Du Soleil and was the official artist of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and in South Africa.
